Medical reports may change to have a patient ‘focus’

Medical professionals are calling for medical reports to be simplified to avoid patient confusion.

Urologist at Eppworth Freemasons, Professor Nathan Lawrentschuk, says medical language is often misinterpreted by patients.

“Sometimes the use of words can be quite emotive, although they’re correct medically they can be interpreted very differently by a patient,” he told Ross and Russel.
