Max Gawn set for stint on the sidelines

Max Gawn is expected to miss a month after suffering a syndesmosis injury on Monday.

The Melbourne captain had scans, which confirmed the injury.

He doesn’t require surgery.

But the gun ruckman is still forecast to miss “between three and five weeks”.

It comes at a shocking time for the Demons, who have lost their past three games.
