Matthew Richardson defends Richmond’s new recruits following ‘harsh’ criticism

Richmond great Matthew Richardson has defended new Tigers’ recruits in Tim Taranto and Jacob Hopper after they copped some criticism from Kane Cornes on Channel Nine’s Footy Classified.

Cornes claimed the club had “sold their future” for the two players, but Richo wasn’t buying it.

“I think he’s pretty harsh on those guys to be fair,” Richardson said.
