Matthew Lloyd hasn’t held back after North Melbourne’s demoralising defeat to Carlton on Good Friday, calling out the club for overpaying two key recent recruits.
The Roos were hammered to the tune of 82 points, leaving Alastair Clarkson’s side with plenty of soul-searching ahead.
Lloyd singled out the recruitment of a defensive duo in the immediate aftermath of the horror defeat.

“They’ve paid way too much for Griffin Logue and Aidan Corr,” he said on 3AW.
“They have come in and they’re number three defenders at best – they’re being asked to play (on bigger) opponenets than they are.”
