Matthew Lloyd wonders whether there’s a better value recruit in recent memory than Blake Acres

Matthew Lloyd has put out the question to the public: is there a better bargain player in recent memory than Blake Acres in the competition?

The Carlton midfielder started off his career at St Kilda and came across from Fremantle to the Blues at the end of the 2022 season in exchange for a future third round pick.

“It’s amazing what an important player he’s become for Carlton,” Lloyd said.
