Matthew Lloyd thinks Hawthorn should be a preliminary finalist in 2025

Hawthorn were major players in the trade period, bringing in two key pillars in defence with Josh Battle and Tom Barrass joining the club.

The two defensive acquisitions have put the Hawks in a strong position to attack the premiership next year.

Matthew Lloyd has a lot of confidence in the Hawks and believes they should be a preliminary finalist in season 2025.

“I don’t think they lack for anything,” Lloyd said on the 3AW Trade Podcast.
