Matthew Lloyd slams experienced Bomber’s on-field behaviour

Essendon legend Matthew Lloyd has slammed Brendon Goddard’s on-field behaviour.

Goddard was demonstrably upset with his teammates during the Bombers’ disappointing performance against Collingwood on Anzac Day.

And Lloyd told 3AW Football the way you deliver criticism is important in any line of work.

“Yelling in someone’s face isn’t going to work,” Lloydy said.

“He went straight over to the forwards and abused them.”

Former Collingwood captain Tony Shaw said it’s “disgraceful”.

“I think Brendon Goddard’s got to have a good look at himself.”
