Matthew Lloyd shoots down St Kilda trade suggestion on Sportsday

Matthew Lloyd says St Kilda would be silly to try and trade Jack Billings.

Scott, one of many frustrated St Kilda supporters to phone Sportsday on Monday, asked Lloyd whether the club should look at trying to move the former No.3 draft while he still had value.

While Billings has battled at times in the early part of the season, like many of his teammates, Lloyd warned against cutting ties with the talented junior.

“He could really embarrass them,” Lloyd said on 3AW.

“He’s that type.

“If you put him in a good system … he could make St Kilda look silly.”
