Matthew Lloyd relates to his own collision from playing days when assessing Maynard’s actions

Matthew Lloyd has responded to a caller on the talkback line who said Maynard’s action “wasn’t a footy act” which Lloyd disagreed with, claiming it was a “split second” decision.

It prompted Lloyd to relate to his own split second decision from his playing days.

“I feel for Brayden in this situation,” Lloyd said.
