Matthew Lloyd and Sam McClure react to 2025 Gather Round fixture

The AFL have officially announced the 2025 Gather Round fixture, with Adelaide taking on the Cats at the Adelaide Oval to begin the round.

Matthew Lloyd and Sam McClure have had their say on Gather Round and both having differing opinions on the fixturing of the round.

“You have to give good games, you can’t have three out of the nine being pretty good and six out of the nine being diabolical,” McClure said on Wide World of Sports.

“The place is a buzz whoever is playing, they get to see teams they don’t (often) get to see,” Lloyd said on Wide World of Sports.
