Matthew Lloyd and Leigh Matthews address Melbourne’s mid-season form slump

Matthew Lloyd says Melbourne has a couple of weeks to get back into form, otherwise the club’s premiership defence is in serious strife.

It comes after the Demons lost to Geelong on Thursday night.

They’ve dropped four of their past six games.

“They’ve lacked the ability and cohesion to go forward for six weeks and they haven’t got one forward that is in form,” Lloyd said on 3AW Football.

Matthews said the Demons still had a level they could go to that no other side could match.
