Matt Owies would be ‘disappointed’ details of salary demands were made public

Matthew Lloyd has stated Carlton small forward Matt Owies and his management would be “disappointed” at his salary demands being made public during the trade period.

Owies is currently out of contract, and is reportedly expected to demand $700-800,000 a season according to the Herald Sun, with Lloyd claiming he’s “overpriced” himself.

“He’ll be on a list somewhere I would think, but it’s just got to be at the right price,” Lloyd said on 3AW’s Wide World of Sports.
