‘Massive blind spot’: Tom Elliott calls out AFL over double standards with social causes

The AFL has a “massive blind spot” when it comes to its policies on gambling, according to Tom Elliott.

The country’s biggest domestic sports league champions a wide range of social causes across the course of the season.

But as Tom points out, at the same time they’re still making millions each year in sports betting revenue.

“Gambling is massive for the AFL,” he said on 3AW Mornings.

“It is directly and indirectly responsible for a huge proportion of the AFL’s revenues, yet it seems they don’t seem to have a problem with this.”
