Mark Robinson’s passionate reply to criticism from Damien Hardwick

So, this got heated!

Mark Robinson launched a passionate defence of his criticism of Tom Lynch.

Robbo had written an article in the Herald Sun saying Lynch was “failing his duty as captain” of the Suns by exploring his free agency options.

It drew criticism from Richmond coach Damien Hardwick during the week, who branded the article “appalling”.

But Robbo is standing by it.

He told Sunday Sport the situation is different for senior leaders.

“When you sign up for captaincy, you take a different level of responsibility,” he said.

It sparked something of a heated debate with Jimmy Bartel and Daniel Harford!
