Mark Allen’s interesting story relating to ‘superstar’ Brazilian tennis sensation Joao Fonseca!

3AW host Mark Allen went to the Australian Open last night, and one of the matches he saw was number nine seed Andrey Rublev up against 18-year-old Joao Fonseca, who was making his debut on the grand slam stage.

The teenage sensation from Brazil caused the big upset, defeating Rublev in straight sets, and Allen then recognised the name, telling a story which also involved fellow host Jimmy Bartel!

“Oh boy, have I got a story for you!” he said on 3AW Breakfast.
