Manhunt underway after driver tries to mow down e-scooter riders

A major manhunt is underway in Melbourne after a driver tried to mow down four people riding electric scooters along St Kilda Road.

Footage of the dramatic road rage incident shows the riders running for their lives as a yellow Ford drives at them.

It’s believed the group had an altercation with a woman at about 10.40pm on Sunday.

The woman was then picked up by the Ford, and an unknown driver attempted to run down the scooter riders.

The vehicle then made a U-turn onto the wrong side of the road and crushed the scooters.

Police are still searching for the driver.
