Man wanted after girl, 11, assaulted in CBD
Police are hunting a man who indecently assaulted a girl in Melbourne’s CBD earlier this month.
The girl, 11, was walking with her mother and brother in Collins Street on Sunday, June 4 when the man put his hand under her skirt and grabbed her on the buttock.
He then crossed the street before the girl’s mother confronted him, took photos and went to police.
Police have released an image of a man they wish to speak to.
The man is described as being aged in his 40s, about 170cm tall with a medium build, dark brown hair and a pointed nose.
At the time of the incident he was wearing a blue jacket, blue jeans, white runners and carrying a black backpack.
