Man tasered and arrested outside Melbourne Aquarium

A man has been tasered by police outside Melbourne Aquarium.

He’d allegedly been involved in an armed altercation.

Critical Incident Response Team officers were called to Kings Way at about 9.30am on Monday following reports a man was armed with a knife.

After deploying the device, a 45-year-old man was taken into custody.
