Man in hospital after shots fired in terrifying home invasion overnight
A man is in hospital after a terrifying home invasion in Lower Templestowe in the early hours of this morning.

Police say several men forced their way into the Linton Avenue home at 12:45am this morning and assaulted a man.
One of the offenders fired several shots into the house with a woman and two children inside, thankfully no one was hit.
The offenders fled the scene while the man was taken to hospital with non life-threatening head injuries.
Forensics remain on scene this morning and Linton Avenue is taped off with police believing it to be a targeted attack.
