Man in custody after woman found dead in South Morang property

A man has been arrested after a woman was found dead in Melbourne’s north-east on Monday morning.

Police say they are treating the incident in South Morang as suspicious, with caller Colin telling Tom Elliott police swarmed a property on Reid Street.

“They’ve blocked off the street and there’s a lot of police tap going around the house,” he said on 3AW.

A man has been arrested after the body of a woman was found at a home in South Morang this morning. Police are yet to confirm if they were known to one another. @3AW693
