Man gets shock of his life when he orders second-hand book
This is spooky!
An American man received the autobiography of Bart Cummings by his Australian-based uncle as a gift years ago has ended up with the book in his possession again after his mother lent it out some seven years earlier.
Liam Daniel Benson, who sells stallions in Kentucky in the US, wanted to pass the book on to another friend in the racing industry when he saw a picture of the legendary trainer at a local pub.
But he couldn’t find it.
So he went online to buy another copy second-hand and was shocked when it arrived.
“The receptionist handed me the package, opened it up, second page – ‘returned to Liam Benson’,” he told Ross and Russ on 3AW Breakfast.
“I’m sitting here, I can’t say what I said, but I’m sure you can put it together!”
