Man dies in Thornbury house fire

A man is dead following a house fire at Thornbury.

Emergency services were called to a Speight Street address just after 7am on Wednesday.

The man, who suffered burns, died at the scene.

A 57-year-old woman was taken to hospital with non-life-threatening burns.
