Man falls to his death in front of horrified restaurant diners in Werribee overnight

A man has fallen five-storeys to his death in front of horrified restaurant diners in Werribee last night.

Diners at cafe Baby J’s were shocked to see the 36-year-old man land in front of shopfront windows at around 10:30pm last night.

It’s understood the man fell from the Holiday Inn hotel above.

The man was found by police at the base of a building on Duncans Road and was unable to be revived and died at the scene.

Police believe he was the driver of a van they’d been pursuing with the assistance of the Air Wing earlier in the night.

It was last seen entering the Holiday Inn car park.
