Man dies after citizens arrest takes place in Melbourne’s north

A man has died in Melbourne’s north after being apprehended by a member of the public following a car crash earlier on Friday morning.

A car collided with two vehicles at the intersection of Craigieburn Road and Waterview Boulevard at about 6:10AM, with the man initially fleeing the scene.

A citizens arrest was then performed, with the man in custody unresponsive when paramedics arrived.
