Man bashed, threatened and hit with a screwdriver at Lalor
A man has been bashed and hit with a screwdriver in a carjacking in Lalor.
The 35-year-old victim had pulled up at a shopping strip on May Road at Lalor around 12.30 pm on Wednesday, when four men approached him.
One threatened him with screwdriver, another held a knife to his throat.
They then punched and kicked him to the ground, hitting with with the screwdriver, before stealing his keys and phone and fleeing in his car.
The man was hospitalised, he described at least of his attackers as of Islander appearance aged in their twenties.
His white Citroen C5 SUV registration SXZ 883 is still outstanding.
