Man arrested in dramatic fashion on Rugby Road

There were dramatic scenes at Oakleigh on Monday, with heavily armed police forcing a brief closure of Rugby Road.

A man was arrested over the alleged theft of a car.

3AW Drive was alerted to the incident by Manny.

Victoria Police then confirmed they’d arrested a man.
