Man arrested following alleged stabbing on bus in Melbourne’s south-east

Police are investigating after two people were stabbed on a bus in Rowville early this morning.
Media officer Leonie Johnson says police were called after an argument between two men and one woman broke out, leaving one man in a life-threatening condition and the woman in a serious condition.

“We’ll be alleging that one of the men involved in the argument has pulled out a knife and slashed a 59-year-old Scoresby man and a 53-year-old Ferntree Gully woman,” she told Ross and Russel.
A 36-year-old man was arrested shortly after.
