Man arrested after allegedly threatening Donvale family in their home

A young man who allegedly broke into a Donvale home and fell asleep is due in court on a string of charges.

The 18-year-old’s accused of holding a knife to the homeowner’s throat after she found him asleep in their living room.

He’s been charged with burglary, criminal damage, assault with a weapon and threats to inflict serious injury over the break-in last Thursday.

He’s due in Ringwood Court on Thursday.
