Man, 80, crashes luxury car into Toorak home

An 80-year-old man has been taken to hospital after his car crashed into a house in Toorak.

The accident happened just before midday, near McRobertson Bridge on Grange Road.

The cleaner was the only person in the house at the time of the crash. She wasn’t injured.

Acting Sergeant David Refeld says the accident happened at a notorious roundabout.

‘There’s been either a collision or near-collision,’ he said.

‘There’s a lot of damage to both a very expensive vehicle and a very expensive house.’
