The Prime Minister says the horrific attack on Bourke Street has exposed a ‘vulnerability’ in Melbourne’s security.
Malcolm Turnbull told Neil Mitchell the city needed to seriously look at new safety measures.
‘You’ve got wonderful big open city with big streets and wide footpaths,’ the PM explained on 3AW Mornings.
‘The attack in Bourke Street is an example of a vulnerability that we have to address.’
