Businesses are being urged to find a “happy medium” as Coles pushes for their store support workers to return to the office for more days.

A Coles statement provided to 3AW Drive confirms workers will be required to be in the office at least three days in 2025.

Employment and workplace expert Rebecca Fraser says a balance between in-person collaboration and remote working was needed.

“There’s definitely a movement (to get workers back in the office),” she told Jacqui Felgate.

“I don’t think you can have 100 per cent remote and 100 per cent in the office, you need to find that happy medium.”
