‘Mafia in the sky’: Teal MP Monique Ryan hits out at Australia’s domestic airlines

Australia’s domestic airlines have been described as the “mafia in the sky” by strategically cancelling flights, especially between Melbourne and Sydney.

Its claimed Qantas is cancelling flights at the last minute, blocking out other airlines, leaving passengers stranded .

Teal federal MP Doctor Monique Ryan says the bullying tactics over passengers used by the airlines are likened to the mafia, telling Neil Mitchell, she wants mandatory compensation for stranded passengers.
