Machete-wielding man chases victim in terrifying Altona North road rage incident

A man has been charged over a terrifying road rage incident at Altona North.

He is accused of ramming a vehicle before allegedly arming himself with a machete and chasing the victim through a shopping centre carpark at about 9.30pm on Wednesday.

The victim sought shelter in his car.

A 31-year-old Mount Duneed man was charged with affray, conduct endangering serious injury, assaults and weapons offences.

He has been released on bail to face court in August.
