Luke Ball in the running for role at Essendon

Luke Ball is in the running to fill Essendon’s vacant head of football role, says Mitch Cleary.

The former Saint and premiership Magpie has taken on a handful of administrative roles since retiring.

“His name has been raised at the Bombers, from what I’m told,” the Sportsday newsbreaker said.

Former AFL executive Simon Lethlean has also been linked with the job.
