Lost Dogs’ Home creates Tinder-style promotion for bigger dogs

“You’ve heard of Married At First Sight, well forget about that, this is where it’s at now.”

That’s according to Suzana Talevski, spokesperson for the Lost Dogs’ Home, where a tinder-style promotion matching dogs weighing over 20 kilograms with owners will be launched on Thursday.

It comes as an influx of bigger dogs have come into the shelter in the last few weeks.

“We need to get them a home,” Ms Talevski told Ross and Russ on 3AW Breakfast.

“And they’re beautiful loving dogs, (so) we’ve introduced ‘swipe right for pawspection’.

Adoption fees will be reduced by half for successful matches.

“You’ll get a great discount, and you’ll get a best friend for life as well,” Ms Talevski said.

“Swipe right for the one you want, come down to the shelter, and if the dog likes you, then it’s a happy life.

“But of course it’s up to the dog to reciprocate that match.”
