Long time coming for suburb’s postcode change

Derrimut will be getting a new identity, with a change in postcode.

And residents say it’s a long time coming.

Local Tony Malloy told Tom Elliott he received a letter in the post yesterday, alerting him to the change.

“It basically said they’re changing it from 3030 to 3026,” he said.

“I’m happy it makes it a lot easier for location searching.”
