Liz Ellis reacts to Netball Australia CEO Kelly Ryan’s resignation

Australian netball legend Liz Ellis has given her thoughts on Netball Australia CEO Kelly Ryan’s resignation yesterday.

The decision comes after a long pay dispute with the players’ union, a dispute Ellis labelled “pretty disgraceful”.

Ellis stated it will be a “tough road ahead for the sport” with Australian set to host the Netball World Cup in 2027.

The former netballer is also set to co-host the return of the battle program “Gladiators” in January alongside former rugby league player Beau Ryan, which she is very excited for!

“It’s amazing to be part of a show that was such a fabric of life in the 90s,” Ellis told Jimmy Bartel and Mark Allen.
