CATS TO BARRACK FOR SAINTS?
Geelong may have played its last game at Simonds Stadium for 2017.
If Richmond beats St Kilda tomorrow, the Cats and Tigers will meet in the first week of the finals. Due to it’s potential for a massive crowd, that match would be at the MCG.
But if St Kilda wins, the Cats will play GWS again in a fortnight.
That match would probably be staged in Geelong.
But one Cats fan has another idea.
3AW listener Larry said he would launch a Supreme Court action if the AFL tried to force Geelong to play its home final away from its home ground!

FULL TIME
Geelong has secured a top-two finish with a 44-point win over GWS.
Sam Menegola (34 touches, three goals) and Patrick Dangerfield (24 contested possessions) were simply outstanding.
From the looks of it, Andrew Mackie and Tom Lonergan could be set to retire at the end of the season.
Both players did a very slow lap of Simonds Stadium after the game, thanking the fans after what might have been their final game in Geelong.
