Lindsay Thomas suspended… again

North Melbourne firebrand Lindsay Thomas looks set to face another period on the sidelines through suspension.

Thomas has been offered a one-match ban for striking while playing for Werribee in the VFL at the weekend.

It was his first game back from a three-week suspension.

Thomas risks a further week on the sidelines if he challenges the one-match ban.

Thomas, 29, has played just five AFL matches this year, accumulating only two goals.

He had averaged 41.4 goals per season in the previous five years.
