Leigh Matthews unpacks Essendon’s ‘anomaly’ season and outlines whether they’re a premiership threat

Leigh Matthews has assessed Essendon’s season so far and outlined whether he thinks they’re a premiership threat or not.

Matthews said it’s “quite an anomaly” how Essendon’s percentage is lower than their opponents this week in the Adelaide Crows, who sit 14th on the ladder.

“They’ve proven they can compete on their good days,” he said.
