Legendary former 3AW broadcaster John Blackman dies aged 76

Hey Hey It’s Saturday star, and former 3AW broadcaster, John Blackman has tragically died.

Entertainment reporter, Peter Ford, says despite the legendary broadcaster’s long and “brave”  battle with cancer, he’s thought to have suffered a heart attack.

“In a perverse kind of way, it means, the cancer didn’t win in the end and he put up an incredibly brave fight and it took a horrible toll,” he told Tom Elliott.
