‘Laughable’: Kevin Bartlett calls out ‘over the top’ suspension for young Swans fan

Kevin Bartlett has called out the “over the top” suspension for a young Sydney Swans fan, who threw an object over the fence at Port Adelaide defender Aliir Aliir on the weekend.
The 16-year-old has been suspended for two years from attending games at the SCG and has been issued a warning from NSW Police, and the Richmond legend thinks the penalty is “laughable”.
“Going to the football as a 16-year-old kid is a lot better than a lot of other 16-year old kids that we hear about at the moment,” Bartlett said on Wide World of Sports.

“I think for a 16-year-old kid, I think this is so far over the top, and I think it’s so disappointing.
“I just find it laughable.”
