Labor Senator’s shock death rocks parliament
The Prime Minister and Opposition leader have led tributes for Labor Senator Kimberley Kitching.
The 52-year-old died suddenly of a suspected heart attack in Melbourne last night.
Senator Kitching was well respected on both sides of politics, especially for her work in the area of national security.
Labor Leader Anthony Albanese says the party is “in shock” over her sudden death and that she will be deeply missed.
