Kurt Tippett announces sudden retirement
Kurt Tippett has retired, effective immediately.
Sydney announced on Monday Tippett was stepping away from the game.
He played 178 games at the highest level, joining the Swans from Adelaide at the end of 2012.
The 30-year-old has been plagued by injury in recent years.
Tippett said his body could no longer stand up to the rigors of professional football.
