Kreuzer to see cardiologist after a scare on Friday night
Carlton ruckman Matthew Kreuzer will see a cardiologist after experiencing an elevated heart rate on Friday night.
He is the second Blues player in as many weeks to suffer the symptom, after Caleb Marchbank reporter a similar issue against Carlton.
Kreuzer was taken to the rooms with an emergency physician.
He wasn’t required to go to hospital.
Marchbank spent one night in hospital last week but was cleared by a cardiologist to play the following week.
Blues coach Brendon Bolton said Kreuzer’s issue “settled down pretty quickly”.
“We’ll go through all of the testing processes with a cardiologist, like we did with Marchbank,” he said.
