‘Kiss your privacy goodbye’ if national database is created
The Australian Privacy Foundation has hit out at a federal government push to create a national database in a bid to toughen national security laws.
The government wants state and territory leaders to hand over the identities of millions of Australians.
“If this gets up, you can basically kiss your privacy goodbye,” Bruce Arnold, from the Australian Privacy Foundation, told Tom Elliott.
