Kids doing it for SIDS: The local footy clubs raising money for a great cause
The Ocean Grove Football Club has raised $40,000 in conjunction with a local footy club in Sydney by playing a state of origin game for the fifth year in a row to raise money for River’s Gift, a charity dedicated to funding scientific research for Sudden Infant Death Syndrome (SIDS).
President of the Ocean Grove Cobra’s Football Club, Aaron White, said it’s the clubs biggest year ever, and have doubled what they raised last year.
