Junior football league boss explains decision to allow ALL teams to play finals
South Metro Junior Football League CEO Matthew Brown has explained his decision to “modify” the finals format in the under 14’s competition to allow all teams to play in the finals.
The changes mean finals would have to be played during the week as well, with the top team East Brighton Vampires having to forfeit due to 11 players being on school camp.
The Vampires will now play in an elimination final and the Hampton team they were supposed to play on Tuesday goes straight into the grand final.
