John Pesutto speaks as Moira Deeming fails to rejoin the Liberal Party
State opposition leader John Pesutto says today’s unsuccessful vote to allow Moira Deeming to return to the parliamentary Liberal Party marks a “bookend” to the issue.
Mrs Deeming needed an absolute majority of 16 votes to be re-admitted, but votes were tied at 14 a piece.
Mr Pesutto says everyone in the party room had a chance to have their say in today’s meeting.

“As opposition leader and as alternative Premier, our focus now is to hold the Allan-Labor government to account,” Pesutto said.
