John Pesutto elected new Victorian Liberal leader

Newly-elected Hawthorn MP John Pessuto has won a vote for the Victorian Liberal leadership.

Mr Pessuto defeated Gembrook MP Brad Battin in what was expected to be a close vote.

It’s the second time Mr Battin has gone for leadership of the party.
